Yes sure every country should be represented, I completely agree. It's wrong that Syria is not represented, its just as wrong that other countrys are not represented as well. But that is how it worked out and LBC was probably looking for the best of the best or for a diverse group of personalities, so this is how it worked out. I don't think it is for politics. If politics was their concern then the first season of star academy should have many many many syrians in it because at the time, Lebanon was under the control of Syria in every way. That was not the case, was it ? I also completely disagree that Syria is more important in the music world than other country's...that's so deterministic. I'm sure there are plenty of Iraqi singers who are great but who haven't had a chance to reach the spotlight...ya3neh there is nothing in the genes of Libyans or Iraqi's that makes them less qualified to sing.

sofia star joy was elminated IMMEDIATELY after what happened in lebanon... and Karen lol I m not the one u should say this too..I m not a nationalistic freak and it's pretty obvious we bezzat I ain't syrian lol Libya and Iraq weren't represented in starac 1 ya3nee 3ady..Laken they made sure everyyear that Syria will be represented and instead of 3 maroccans 3 egyptians and 3 lebanese they could've brought one syrian instead of anyone of them...well I thought a lot about adding the statement I m gonna add..well it doesn't represent my personnal opinion it only represents the truth....Iraq and Libya aren't as important as Syria in the music industry that's a fact..I wun even try and decorate it..Just look how many iraqi and libyan singers are there and how many syrians..AGAIN that's not HOW I think....but there are countries that can NEVER be not represented ya3nee lebanon syria egypt and the gulf there can't be one show without them and u know and everyone knows that what I say is right well my personal pinion is that EVERY country should be represented...I only speaking of facts.. U R SOOOO RIGHT, MY GOD YOU ARE SO GREAT; I JUST LOVE YOU rimoooooooo welcome baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack I really miss u

I don't know about the Syrian issue so i can't judge but i do cogratulate you for the way you think and i totally agree with the second part. Libya and Iraq have amazing musical traditions, the fact that some of us don't know their musicians doesn't mean much. The whole Arab world should thank the Iraqi Ziriab for what he gave to Arab music. It is so wrong to think that LBC should predetermine what countries to have from the beginning, their decision should be based on talent not on some narrow cliches and preconceived ideas.
