Ok, now Im really beginning to think that you are Israeli. You call 1/4 which is 25% of the population united? and the other 75%? "As a democratic state, Israel must subscribe to international norms. If it tries to seize the Litani by force, that's considered a breach of peace and a threat to the security and it will pay the price from the international community. It has responsibilities, like any other state, and unlike a terrorist group. " You might as well go outside and hang an Israeli flag on you window! you actually think that Israel will pay a price? and who will punish Israel? what International community will punish Israel for its wrong doing? it has violated more than 60 UN resolutions and I dont see it "paying the price". You think Hizbullah is a terrorist group? why? please give me one good reason why you think Hizbullah is a terrorist group. Is it because they kidnapped 2 Israeli soldiers to get back a man (dirzi btw) who was jailed in Israel for over 28 years. Or maybe because they are trying to stop a terrorist state from entering Lebanon. And dont call them fascists, because you are comparing them to Al Qayda. And you havent told me why you blame Hizbullah for poverty in Lebanon yet. Go listen to George Galloway, maybe he can knock some sense to people like you. |

katkoot, fortunately I dont live in Lebanon, because if I did, I would be ashamed with living with people like you. You claim that you hate Bush, so why do you speak so harshly about Hizbullah. If you dont like Israel or America then who do you like? just like your saying im putting words in your mouth, your putting in mine. I dont hate anyone ila il3adu. Hate is a strong word. But the way you talk about Hizbullah makes it like your so biased against them. About the "unity" thing. Just the way you guys talk it doesnt sound united. Maybe the christians are united with sunnis, but you guys obviously are not united with shias. Because Lebanons shias support Hizbullah. Your picture does not mean anything. Just because you have a quran and a cross together doesnt mean that everyone is "united" just like starac said, only 1/4 is united. That is nothing. I understand that everyone mourned Hariris death, it was a major climax in Lebanon. But when the government put the blame on Syria and began wanting to rid Hizbullah of its weapons, I didnt see much unity with everyone. I only saw unity on two sides. I would just like to ask one question..why hasnt the truth been exposed yet? I know the government in Lebanon knows who killed Hariri, what is there to hide? dont the people deserve to know the truth? or does everyone still believe that Syria did it? and you made me feel so low that i think im going to cry  . Like I care if a person on a forum disses me. I would like to calmly ask you guys another question. Has Hizbullah done anything to hurt you in anyway? please answer this question for me, because I would really like to know why you have so much passionate hate for them. They have two members in the Cabinet, they should address their concerns in the government forum and if their desires go unanswered, then tough luck, that's a democracy and majority rules. I don't see Jumblatt or Saad Hariri or Aoun or Geagea or anyone muslim or christian or druze attacking a country that has done us wrong. We don't need a resistance anymore, the time for war is over. They are not protecting the needs of Lebanon, they are protecting the interests of Syria and Iran in the manner I've already explained above. I never said I blamed Hezbollah for poverty in Lebanon. That makes no sense. I'm not going to elaborate on the economic situation in Hezbollah-controlled areas (which is what I meant about the poverty) for fear of offending people on this forum who I consider to be my friends. And anyway, lets assume that Israel has gone against 60 UN resolutions (show some facts about that anyway), how many has Hezbollah blatantly avoided and violated ? And yes, I do think that if Israel were to attack Lebanon (without being provoked--WHICH IS THE KEY) and tried to take over the Litani, Israel would have to answer to a larger body of states. Anyways if Israel makes this decision you think that Hezbollah on its own (sans Iran) can do anything to stop it ? If you do, you need a reality check. Well when to everyone outside of Lebanon it looks like Hezbollah started it, how can we expect them to support us ? There's a lot of evidence that Israel was planning this for a long time before, but the key is that after such disasters like the US war in Iraq, preemptive strikes are really unpopular. Therefore, it's my belief that Israel would have held off until Hezbollah struck...and unfortunately for us they did. Now if Hezbollah hadn't struck first so to speak, lebanon would have a lot more credibility then it currently does. |
