I have just seen a message from Morocco on Rotana cafe saying
SOFIA ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED NEXT MONTH
Is it a joke or what ?

Meriyam didn't release her album yet....so is Cynthya...so is Khalawi....so r many more but u r not talking about anyone of them No one but Sofia!!!!!!

I hope that the album of sofia will habe more success than the one of Michel  Because his CD called CASABLANCO has, according to Virgin stores down town Beirut, no success at all.  Michel album has not be launched officially yet  , only few cds were recorded to be distributed during his concert.  But the project will be aborted due to the failure of the only concert he gave at the Beirut saint Georges club  |

As a Lebanese, I am very grateful to Sofia, a foreigner, for the French song she made on Beirut. But as a fan, or I should say an ex-fan, I am disappointed once more because she said that this song will be on Al-Jazera and on a Kuwaiti chanel, knowing in advance that this is impossible, not even on a local 3rd class channel like Nagham. We have a problem with Sofia ? Yes that is true because she is lying all the way and all the time. Promising is one thing, but executing her promises is another thing for her. How many times she said that her album is ready and will be released next month ? We are waiting since three years and nothing comes. Anybody could give interviews but a singer is supposed to sing and not to speak. For how long she will continue this masquerade ? and for how long her fans will accept to follow her ? Its funny how tongues unknot on New Year Eve. You remember the famous French song called “BEIRUT” Sofia made during her Summer stay in Morocco to support Lebanon ? Well it’s a BIG LIE ! In fact this song was recorded long time ago in Beirut and was supposed to be a part of Sofia’s album with two other songs : aktar bi ktir and sa3itlou2ak arranged or composed by Michou. So when Sofia heard that all arab singers were composing songs during the war on Lebanon, she took this opportunity to share their popularity and she announced that she composed this song specially for Lebanon and that it will be broadcasted on AL-JAZEERA and on another Kuwaiti radio station !!! Of course neither Qatar nor Kuwait stations have heard about this song In fact, I always wondered how she could do it because Michou was at that time during all the war in Beirut whereas she was in Morocco… I have now the answer and I wanted to share it with you.
