I don't like Nawal either..she said something about Fairoz since then i don't like her that much.. George Wassouff, Najwa karam or Carol smyie7a would like to see them in Superstar like guest .. peace.. |

I actually did not know that Nawal said something about Fairouz. When did this happen? As far as I know I thought Nawal really liked Fairouz's style (and so do I).
Nawal is my #1 Arabic favorite singer. I knew her from the very beginning.

Okay.. Most of you said that they want Najwa Karam or Nawal El-Zoghbi or many others..
But the story is that most of the singers you mentions are not able to be guests in Super Star and the stupid reason is that the program is on Future...
In fact LBCI signs with some singers and do not authorize them to be guests in any other local channel.. Nawal and Najwa are two of these singers...
I hope that Majida El-Roomi or Joulia will come.. These two, it is not impossible but I don't think they will do.. But I really like their style..

I guess I missed it. I always miss the good stuff on television. 
And I still did not get her CD yet. But you know what, thanks to the people in this forum, there is a website called www.mazikaty.com, that has all her songs. I am still going to buy the CD, because it is always great to get the original copy.

But you know I still agree with what you are saying, because for example I don't see Ragheb Alama that much on LBC (or rarely) than on Future TV. Plus there are some music video clips that look to be shown only on Future and not onl LBC.
So this is why I say: I AM SO CONFUSED.
However, I do hope that Nawal did not sign a contract with LBC, because that would just be wrong. I believe that Future TV and Dubai TV are my most favorite channels of the satellite that I have at home. Future TV, I feel, is better than LBC in a few ways: hosts, variety of shows, and what is shown during the amount of time given for music video clips. Dubai TV also has some great hosts, and their shows rock. I like how they filter the home movies, because even if I am old enough to see such graphic and movies that 17 and older can see (that is rated R), I just do not want to watch the bad content. Dubai TV filters it and keeps the good stuff in, and I really like that. Plus, they have some of my favorite series, like Smallville and Alias (I like secret agent stories, but not the really in-depth ones like CSI). |

man shooda, we have so much in common!!! i respect your idea about filtering the bad scenes on dubai tv, and i totally agree with u... i have lived in dubai and UAE for 14 years, and i know exactly what u mean... although sometimes i get angry when they cut a scene heik suddenly out of nowhere in a part of action ;D ;D, especially in mexican series that i was in love with when i was younger!! lol!! ;D ;D

Yes, Shooda, there are singers who do not sign with LBC and can be part of many program in different channels like Sherine, Assala (who are not lebanese if you notice) and of course the big singers like Sabah, Wadih El-Safi and many others..
But in fact, the singer who signs with Future is permitted to be in other channels (like super star 1 singers) but LBCI does not accept 
Nawal is signing a contract with LBCI...
But the system of LBCI, I think, would change... coz now all singers know that many channels like Future can be useful to them and they can feel free so many stopped signing contracts with LBCI.. And that's good..
