Again, it's getting REEEEEALLY hard...My standouts were:
1. Ayman - I know a lot of u hate him here LOL, but I think he's amazing...Vocal-wise and personality-wise. The song he sang in the medley did NOT suit him that well, but he ruled the Fairouz song he sang...I loved it.
2. Raneem - I dunno maybe I liked him cuz he sang one of my fave songs of all time, which was Fairouz's "Sa2alooni El Nas". I adore that song, and when I knew that Raneem will sing it, I was praying he wouldn't butcher it and make me hate it...But I LOOOOOVED it from him...He sings will lots of emotion.
Hadi and Brigitte were awesome as well...Especially Brigitte when she held that long note in Fairouz's song...As for Ammar, 3adi, like every week...But I havta admit that " Ya Qudso" was great...I really enjoyed it.
I am so depressed though...tomorrow it's either Raneem or Brigitte to leave, and I predict Raneem. It'll be interesting though to know who will be the third in the bottom 3...It will give us a clearer picture of who'll be the superstar...
And uhhh...Rania should stick to presenting.

Overall, I thought today's show was pretty good. Here's the breakdown. ***Did you guys see that tiny clip from "Safarbarlik" of the song "Ya Ahl el Dar" during the reportage of the judges in the beginning? I just want to point out that that movie is one of my two favorites of all time. *** Elias - He's a Rahbani so he is musically awesome by nature. And he always says something interesting or just makes a comment totally out of no where, like last time when he started talking about the environment. hahaha Abdullah - Seems like a polite cool guy. Fadia - She did a good job singing today but I wasn't wowed. She has kind comments though. Rania - Her little part sounded cute and pleasant. And I loved her dress. Ayman - not really anything to say about him The violin guy - Who knew watching a guy with a violin could be fun? He was great. At playing that is, not when he spoke........haha. Ranim - I love "Ya Hajal Sanine" which is from my other favorite movie of all time "Biya3 il Khawatim." When I saw him holding the paper I was disappointed in him but then we found out he was sick so I excused him. You could tell he was very tired and not his usual self. Anyway, he did a very good job on all three songs inspite of his illness. Usually he is awesome. I really love his voice and how he crafts each song. You totally get hooked while he's singing. And he sings everyword like he means it. He is my number one of the five but he'll probably unfairly leave tommorrow. And if he leaves I will probably lose almost all my interest in the show. Ayman - His first song was really good. And the second one was good too but the style doesn't suit him. I like his voice and style but it's probably not as versatile as some other people. And he looked very comfortable on stage today and I liked that he did a little bit of an upper body dance on the second song. Anyway, he has an interesting, different personality and I liked his Egypt clip better than the rest because it was funny and cute and he didn't ask for votes. Hadi - Good job overall, especially on the second song. Some how though, every time he sings I feel like something small is missing. As if the performance is just shy of it being great, and instead is very good. Brigitte - Did better than usual on the first song, where the mawal was better than the song itself, but lapsed back into her great-for-her-age-but-not-amazing-voice in the second song where I felt she messed up a little on the last part. Also, though she seems like a nice girl, nothing distinct about her personality stands out in her singing or when she talks. Ammar - Mohannad already sang "Ya Mareq 3a 6awa7een," so what's the deal with repeating it? Ammar sang it good but not great. I really think this guy is overrated vocally. It's not that he sings bad, it's just that there is nothing special about his voice. The second song was very good (again, not great) but, even though I am sure he is patriotic, I can't help but feel like he was playing on people's emotions by choosing that song. Of course they will vote for him after that. Any Palestinian (like my dad let's say) can go up and sing "Weyn 3a Ramallah" and will win the show...haha. If he wins, which he probably unfortunately will, the only good thing that will come out of it is that it will be interesting to see a Palestinian in World Idol. But I would rather we had a nicer image for Palestine. I mean, this guy didn't even crack a smile on those goshdarn camels. Mohannad - Wow, you definitely notice he is missing. He was fun and miri7 and added something to the show. And the holding up of the pictures was super cute. ;D GENERAL OBSERVATIONS - - Considering that the Rahbani brothers have possibly the largest and probably the best reportoire in the history of Middle Eastern music, I think some of them could have picked better songs to sing. - That's two weeks in a row of dumb outfits for Bridgitte. She's a pretty girl but last week's red dress was a disaster and this week's outfit was a catastrophe. Also, do the guys have to wear suits EVERY WEEK? I mean I know Superstar wants to prove that it's a serious show but can it relax a little. I don't mean jeans and tshirt but even small touches like today when Hadi took off his tie make a difference. And by the way, of the ones left, only Hadi and Ranim actually fill out their suits. Ammar looks like a wimp in it and Ayman just looks funny in a good way. - Again, I know they try to look serious but can't the contestants move around a bit. No need for a full blown dance routine, but most of them just plant their feet in one spot and don't step out of it. At least take a step forward or to the side or something. That's it for this week and I think we will lose Ranim tommorow but I hope not because I think he is the best out of the five.

oh guys sorry i forgot to mention one more point ;D in the begining, in the medly, did u see how ayman sang "digu el mahabeej"? oh my God!! i am going to kill myself!! how could hussam el shami leave, and ayman OR ammar stay?!! oh could someone please tell me hussam el shami was a great great loss to the program, but in the end, FUTURE is the big looser... they really lost a great voice and i am sure they r behind it in order not to repeat melhem zein's story again... subhan Allah just today i was hearing hussam el shami sing that song in one of the medly's that FUTURE always puts in between programs. so when i heard ayman sing it, i went crazy!! oh my God, he destroyed the song!! i donno why ayman's voice is getting on my nerves!! it is so one track, doesn't change at all... always in the same tune... and by the way, why does he always, like 95%, sing women's songs?? thats not to mention ammar and his so ordinary voice... ma haram hussam el shami, abir, muhannad, madanieh, mustafa, yassmine, all those, ma haram innon yitla3o w ammar w ayman yib2o!!!

I am so depressed though...tomorrow it's either Raneem or Brigitte to leave, and I predict Raneem. It'll be interesting though to know who will be the third in the bottom 3...It will give us a clearer picture of who'll be the superstar... . Okay.. I think there won't be a bottom 3 today but a bottom 2... In fact, last year, when they were 6, they started picking only a bottom 2.. And it will still like that until they become 4 (next week)... When they are 3, the 3 are in danger...
Okay.. I think Brigitte will leave But yesterday, she was better than always so I hope she will stay... Ammar will stay of course, especially after the song he sang yesterday for Palestine... So I hope Ayman will leave... But I know he won't and I know it is Brigitte who will leave or maybe a surprise with Hadi leaving

Yeah, I didn't like it when Raneem had the paper...It also irked me when Ayman once did it, and Ammar and Houssam M. as well...It looks so odd singing from a paper.
