Bsheyno.......... Greetings to ahl Qamishly! KILILILILILIIIIIIII.......HAHAHAHAHA. that's ok, i don't speak much suryoyo either. we have a madrashto (madrase for you non-suryoyo ) for it and there i learned to write and read when i was a kid. we used to go once a week. i went for a couple years but that was 10 years ago. so now i can read and write so-so and i understand some. anyway, here in the new york/new jersey area we have a good sized suryoyo population. probably not as much as sweden but it's still a big number, thank God. my closest friend was born here in america but her family is from qamishly. so i love it because of her family. her parents were born there though her mom is armaniye but she learned suryoyo from her husbands family....cool, huh?. oh, and our mu6ran is from qamishly too. and i love the qamishly accent. as for me, my dad is palestinian roum orthodox and my mom is syrian orthodox . her family is part from mardin and part from a little village called midde. but they left there about 80 years ago or more. and since this is supposed to be a music forum (haha) as you know we have great music in that area but very few people outside of the area know about it...... here's a song to remind you of home....... fi wis6 il qamishliye, akh yamo, 3amoda w derbesiye, akh yamo, karetooli 9abiye, 9abiye siryaniye.....akh yamo! tell those in holland that we on the other side of the pond send our best wishes. ;D (p.s. sorry everyone if this was distrubance ;D )
