They did an interview with all the 4 contestants in a radio station here called NOGOOM FM, and they asked Raneem about Star Academy...He said he was a HUGE fan of the show, and he loved Attieh...He even made some promotion for him so ppl can vote(LOL), and went all the way to Cairo from Alexandria to wait for him in the airport.
This guy is amazing...I expected him to diss STARAC and Attieh, since he's in the competing program (SUPERSTAR) and all...Ammar and Mohannad, as an example, said really bad things about STARAC. But Raneem was really, really sweet. I love his personality, and it really breaks my heart that he's gonna leave this week.

Well speaking from a part-Egyptian person, I do like Ateya but not to the extent that I wanted him to win. Ahmad was the first in my mind followed by Bashar. In addition, it seemed that Ateya's fame got to his mind in that he has changed to what a Western pop star would like instead of being natural like Ahmad.

that's really cool that Raneem was supporting Attiah and that he liked the show. there really should be no comeption between the two shows and their candidates. there's room for everyone!
as for attiah, i am pretty much with shooda. i like attiah (he is multi-talented) and he definitely should be in the top 8 but i don't think he should have won. but whatever. let's not get into that again.
and also i don't think attiah is neccessarily acting "western" but he and ahmad (don't worry guys - i like ahmad too) are the two who spent most time with developing "star" trademarks and such. i mean, one time when attiah was talking about being a singer the only thing he was mentioning was about always changing his look rather than about singing etc. and ahmad spent more time tieing his bandana and throwing kisses to the audience than learning the words to songs that he would keep forgeting in the primes. ;D don't everyone attack. hahaha.....it's just an observation and opinion on our star academy buddies.

oh Sagittarius i am one of attieh's biggest fans!!! i wanted him to win from the beginning of the show!! he is amazing!!! he entered laughter, happy moments, friendship, and love to our lives for 4 whole months!! he was a really hard worker, specially when mira lost!! ;D i don't think that the academy would be the same without attieh!! ana aktar tnen habiton were attieh and bahaa!! and i wished that bahaa was second!!  but to tell u the truth, i am not liking now how attieh is changing his hair color!! sorry but it looks horrible!! i always prefer natural beauty la2anu khel2et Allah... but why r u asking? |

nano......haha....."grrrrrr" ..........there's nothing wrong with the bandana ;D its just that somtimes i think ahmad played the part of the star instead of focusing his energy on working. he could have easily won the show if he pulled himself together and wasn't so inconsistent. but anyway, this isn't the star academy forum.

To majnon3attia: What the hell?? When did I ever say something bad about Raneem?? Where's the diss in that? D- U ppl look soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo into things it gets weird at times. Attieh and Ahmad were focusing on their looks...THE TRAVESTY IN THAT LOL He was just saying, and it doesn't necessarily mean he'll ignore everything in the world after becoming a star and focus on his hair or look. And I think he worked HELLA hard enough in the academy, and said gazillion times how he can't wait to do an album, and started composing and writing songs with Bashar...It's funny u forgot he said that...And BTW, Bashar and Khalawi changed their look and their hairstyle after the academy........I am sure they didn't ignore singing. nano- They did an interview with Mohannad Mshalla7 (actually with all the 17 contestants) on www.futuresuperstar.com, but they took it out since he's out of the program. Basically he said that he doesn't ike STARAC and it isn't a successful program...That was dumb of him to say anyways, cuz STARAC is 1239812037812347899123478 times more successful than SUPERSTAR. katkoot- I hate Attieh's hair now LOL...Did u read what I said about it in the STARAC forum?? I didn't like it all. |

D, I have to agree with you since I was in a state of reminiscence. I totally remembr Ahmad and Ateya who improved on their looks rather than their songs. And although Ahmad was my favorite one, he became really tired of Star Academy as seen in the evaluation before he left. I think he depended on the people, knowing that they will vote for him. That's pretty sad.

sag - there is no need to blow things out of proportion. ;D i didn't say they are going to forgo singing and become their own full time stylists. all i said is that those two focused more on the "look" and little trademarks of celebrity than the other students did. i'm not putting them down. it's just a observation after watching all those months of star academy. secondly, i didn't say that they didn't work. attiah worked hard after mira left and he was distraction-free. his singing sometimes was not on par with the others but he was creative and was one of the best, if not the best, in the theater classes. as for ahmad, he was inconsistent in everything. he had so much potential, but his effort was always fluctuating, for whatever reason or reasons. example- the prime soumaya left he was number 2 and two weeks later he was a nominee when bruno left. so relax! ;D you often get all worked up in your replies for nothing. shooda - yep it is pretty sad. if ahmad had consistently improved (also if he hadn't had his lapses of disregarding academy rules ) he could likely have easliy made it to the final. anyway, what's done is done. |
