Great new interviews of Tom Felton <3 and Bonnie Wright, Promoting the HBP DVD:
MTV: Tom Felton: Filming on Deathly Hallows Now Will Run Until June 2010:
"It's kind of cool, because this is the first time we've had so many castmembers on one set at one time, especially everyone from the evil camp and everyone from the good camp in a Western-style showdown — without revealing too much," said Felton, who plays the nefarious Draco Malfoy. "It's an amazing last scene, what we've shot of it so far. It's very exciting..."I've rarely had an opportunity to work with the evil family," he said. "I'm working with Helena Bonham Carter, who's a lovely lady and also a completely scary witch when she wants to be. I'm enjoying working with adult cast tremendously."

Another cute interview with Tom:

A very nice interview with Bonnie and Tom:
"Q: How would you describe J.K. Rowling? Bonnie Bonnie: I always find it so surreal meeting her. This whole world literally is because of one person. Tom: She's a very unassuming down-to-earth lady, the most lovely lady. I was always taken away by how genuine she seemed, and how unaffected by the fact that she's probably the world's biggest author."

Tom Felton describes Dan's character on Deathly Hallows set as "battered and abused and scarred", AWESOME interview:
In what could be considered the best interview yet from this US media push, the Wall Street Journal speaks to Tom about Deathly Hallows filming and the Half-Blood Prince DVD. On the subject of the former, Tom briefly hints at what they're filming currently:
"Tom Felton: I can’t reveal too much, or I’ll get myself in trouble, but I can say that we’ve been shooting some of the very last scenes from the very last film. Though we’re not going to be able to see it for another two years, which is crazy. But it’s very moving, because this is what we’ve been working toward for the last 10 years. Daniel [Radcliffe] is the figurehead of the series, so when we see him battered and abused and scarred [while in character] on set, you get all emotional."
Later in the interview, Tom comments on the recent news of nude scenes in Deathly Hallows:
"I’ve seen some pretty horrific… no, I’m kidding. I haven’t seen any pictures — usually they do artist’s impressions to show us, but I haven’t seen anything yet. I haven’t talked to Dan about it, actually. I may have to have a word. I’m sure it will be awkward for them.
The one thing to keep in find is that [the Potter series] are adult books. Half the characters die by the end, and often in grisly ways. Teenagers are about sex, drugs and rock & roll, and David’s very keen to keep the films true to what these kids would be going through in real life; he’s not censoring anything that doesn’t need to be censored. The idea of this alluring Hermione is great, because [the character] is so unalluring; it’ll be great to switch it up. And I can’t say exactly, but I look forward to what happens."
read the whole interview here: blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2009/12/11/harry-potter-star-tom-felton-on-playing-draco-malfoy-in-deathly-hallows-and-beyond/NO NEED TO PANIC ABOUT THE LAST COMMENT GUYS!!! i'm positive it wont be something too much, HP is not an R rated movie ( they barley get a pg-13 rating lmao) and will never be, it's just the media stirring things up, and probably SOOO exaggerating David Yates's comments ..... this has happened loads of times before, fans panic and the media makes a huge fuss about it, then when u see in the movie u wont even notice!!!
And Tom's comments, he probably doesnt even know about it LOOl and probably just heard it from the media so he doesn't know the details either! I mean comon they called HBP movie as " sex, drugs and rock & roll" DO U SEE ANY OF THAT? lmao.. it's just "considered" that compared to other books coz there's kissing in it LOOOL !! p.s: referring to the "nude" comment i realized i havnt posted the article about it coz i didnt want memi to read it, sure enough she read it 3ala 6ool so here's the news post about it (SPOILER WARNING, IF YOU HAVNT READ THE LAST BOOK, DONT READ):

A very RARE and AWESOME interview with the Potion Master himself Snape: Alan Rickman talks:
Well this is quite a holiday treat: Rare video interviews are now online with actor Alan Rickman on his role as Professor Severus Snape in the Harry Potter film series. Mr. Rickman, who has routinely refused (in most cases, not all, but most) to speak at length about the pivotal character he portrays in the films, answered several questions at the Hudson Union Society recently about Snape. Alan confirms he has already filmed some scenes with Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort) for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but has yet to film with Dan Radcliffe (Harry) Watch Here:

The Times: J.K. Rowling a Top Person of the Decade
he Times newspaper has an article now online listing what they call the "Top 50 People of the Decade." Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is among those listed in the top ten (US President Barack Obama holds the number one spot) Of our favorite author, the newspaper states:
"6 J.K. ROWLING Author and philanthropist
Although the Boy Wizard first appeared in the late Nineties, it was in the Noughties that J.K. Rowling became a Muggle of international renown, when the first novel in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, was released as a film in 2001. By the time the seventh and final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, appeared, Rowling had sold 400 million books in 67 languages. Child readers became teenagers along with Harry, Ron and Hermione.
An unwitting populariser of witchcraft and boarding schools, Rowling agreed to her publisher’s request to use initials of indeterminate sex so the name “Joanne” would not put off boy fans, and she controlled her burgeoning £4 billion franchise with an iron hand. She oversaw the film scripts, insisted on a British cast and tearfully defended herself in court when another author threatened to publish a Potter “Lexicon”. Rowling has successfully stayed out of the public eye by never courting personal publicity, and has two children with her second husband. The Sunday Times Rich List estimated Rowling’s personal fortune at £560 million, ranking her as the 12th richest woman in Britain. She gives £5 million a year to her charity, which supports many causes including one-parent families, which she herself was when she wrote the first Potter in an Edinburgh café with her baby at her side. Kate Muir"
You can see the whole list here: women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/women/celebrity/article6947163.ece?token=null&offset=24&page=3<3 <3 <3 <3 I adore this woman <3 <3 <3 if it were for me she would be #1 on the list, but hey in the top 10 is still good <3
