Dan Radcliffe talks sad & emotional final day on Deathly Hallows set
Earlier this evening on the red carpet of the 64th annual Tony Awards, Daniel Radcliffe talked for the first time about the ending of the Harry Potter films, which brought everyone on set to tears. Filming for Deathly Hallows completed this past Saturday, June 12th.
"Everyone was really devastated. It was really, really sad," Radcliffe said Sunday. "[We] were crying quite a lot."When asked how it felt to end his role as the boy wizard, Radcliffe said, "It's a weird, weird feeling."

Dan Radcliffe Discusses Last Days of Filming:
A new article details Daniel Radcliffe's (Harry Potter) feelings about completing the movies, as well as having been connected to the Harry Potter franchise for nearly ten years:
“I ... we ... were very emotional. I’m not a particularly overly emotional kind of person. And so, I didn’t really expect it to be ... to cry ... as much as I did. But I was absolutely devastated at the moment, because I just thought, ‘Well, what am I gonna do now?’ You know? I don’t know what my day-to-day life is without Harry Potter,” Radcliffe said. “I’ve got to sort of find that out.” ...
In the meantime, he hopes to have a reminder of his Potter days. “I’m going back (to the ‘Potter’ set) for two — literally two — days, and I’m going to get the glasses. Gotta get the glasses,” he said of the iconic specs Harry wore during his days at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Radcliffe is certain to have a long acting future before him. But will that future include a day where he ceases to wake up without a little bit of Harry Potter inside?
“No. Not at all,” he said. “Every opportunity I get from now until the rest of my life is derived from the fact that when I was 10 years old, I got cast as Harry Potter. And I will be forever grateful and very proud to be associated with it.”

Video: Bonnie Wright talks Deathly Hallows epilogue and Warwick Davis on favorite moment in Deathly Hallows:
Bonnie:
"Being the person who sort of ends up with the hero of this franchise is never something I ever would have imagined. It's just been so exciting, so lovely to have something that develops further, and you can make [Ginny] my own and take things from your own life growing up and put those things into it."
"It wasn't my last scene, but it was one of my last scenes. That's where I started the journey of 'Harry Potter,' on the platform, and then to see the girl who's playing our daughter was just psychologically, it was very weird, because she's the same age as me. It was literally having a whole cycle of the journey.
I hope it's well-received. In terms of the prosthetics and creativity of it, they took months and months — I must have done 100 tests and costume fittings. A lot of energy went into making that moment perfect. "

Warwick:
"I think all of my favorite moments are in the last two films. I got to do some really interesting and important things, which is nice. Previously in the films, it's always been great to be there, but normally I've been the kind of comic relief. I've had silly, fun things to do, which have been very memorable. It's wonderful. People always remember those moments, but I felt having Griphook and Flitwick [in the final two films] — I have much more bearing and importance on the plot as well."
"People who've read the books will know this, but the moment where Voldemort exclaims that Harry Potter is dead ... to have read that and to actually be there as it's happening, that was quite emotional and quite surreal. It sends a shiver down your spine because you're standing there and witnessing this event. It's almost like reading the newspaper going back in time, witnessing a world-changing event."
