janjoon my mom's side of the family was soooo pro-aoun ya3neh 3awniyyeh 3al akher...but after what he's done now, they are completely silent about him. none of them went to the protest because they could not see themselves, as people who fought with aoun against syrian occupation, to stand SIDE BY SIDE with the slaves of syria in Lebanon...they have more respect for themselves than Aoun does!

my friend in university has the same story ...she was 3awnye ...she went in 14 March and protested ..then after Aoun became pro-Syrian , she still was with him against us . So , a while ago I asked her if she goes to the demonstrations of Hizballah and FPM ..she had tears in her eyes ! ..she told me " sarnla 15 sene , in every mozhara , we scream till we don't have voices anymore " syria barra...bashar barra " ..w hala2 bedon n2ol " shokran syria " ...I told her tayeb why don't u go to the mozharat of 14 March , she was silent ! .and till now she doesn't have an answer ....

ba3den to tell you the truth , at some point last year before Aoun came back , we were all welcoming him to Lebanon ...it was one step closer to FULL MOOSAL7A after war ...along with Samir Geagea's Freedom ..We were hoping that Aoun will stand with us and we will get stronger and be more united ..Muslims and Christians against the Syrian Regime , which AOUN himself was a victim of and which HE himself called in a speech in the UN for the Syrian withdrawl ...UNFORTUNTELY , our hopes were destroyed by his collations in the Elections and with Hizballah , etc....
