The situatio in Leb is sooo frusterating so I'm making this thread for everyone to come complain -- about the politics, the assassination, the war on terrorism, the economy, etc.
For me, I almost come to point of screaming when I think about how there are people who are Lebanese by blood but have their allegiance 100% elsewhere. This idea of a National Unity Government--which Saad Hariri seemed close to accepting last week--would be going against everything March 14th has worked up until this point. Why should we reward those people who led Lebanon into a war, did all they could to frustrate the process of the international tribunal, blatanly continue to seek syrian arms (with ample proof), and refuse to denounce Fat7 Islam's war on the army ? Ma 3am befham...ya3neh in any other country this would NOT be tolerated. And now our government has proof that Syria is lining up fighters stationed in the Bekaa to continue fighting against the army...and we can't do anything to stop it and syria is denying it ma32enno the military has dossiers upon dossiers of solid proof. HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN YA 3ALAM THIS IS INSANITY !!!!! It's like they are telling us to our faces "We are gonna fight you in a proxy war and we're gonna f*ck up your country and kill your politicians and there isn't a single d**n thing you can do about it!!" This is what kills me, our helplessness. How many more "allah yer7amons" do we have to say...and why is Syria going unpunished ?

Karen , the Syrian will get punished Inshallah !! Yes , they have cost us many martyrs , they've cost us our economy , but Hell if they cost us our dignity or independence ...
I'm totally with you in all you said , March 14 Coollation should never accept this "National Unity Governemnt " AT ALL , I mean who the hell are they kidding , national unity ?! ..the ironic thing is Hizabllah says to the Lebanese Government : you were hasty in making the decsion of letting the Lebanese Army fight and enter the Nahr Il Barad Camp ,and you didn't have enough poltical delegations with all the parties before taking this decision ! ....Just ONE question for Hizabllah : DID THEY EVEN TALK TO ANYONE BEFORE THEY DECIDED TO THROW LEBANON IN THE ISRAELI FIRE ?!! 14 March are tratiors because they backed up the government when it gave the green light for the army to move on ....Yes , we knew that the lebanese army would have martyrs , it's WAR ...but not the true lebanese , and not the army men themselves would have accepted for one second to retreat and be beat by a bunch of creatures who were killing lebanese and palastines on Lebanese Territory ...
On another note , as it's a frusterations thread ...I have to say something . Desipte everything that's going on in Lebanon , I still have hope and will never lose it ! Yes , Lebanese here are terrified to go out and never come back in one piece , Yes we're terrified that this summer will be even worst that the other one ....but the true beliveres , the true sons of the ARZ , know that no matter what ...Lebanon will prevail ( "Lebanon is like OIL , pore as much water as you want over it , in the end , Lebanon will RISE " Bachir Gemayel ) ...It's like a Cesserian Operation for a new FREE INDENPENDENT LEBANON : A lot of blood has been lost , but in the end the new Lebanon will come out ....
Ya 3ame shou bedkon , ne7na il libnanyne we never lose hope ..WE JUST CAN"T !!!! Beirut has been rebuilt 7 times , and we will built it again ...C'mon NO FRUSTERATION NO LOSING HOPE ...this is OUR Lebanon , if we lose hope what will we have left ?! ...Look , the way I see it ..we can't let any foriegner rule Lebanon ...it's OUR LEBANON ...khalas beddon war , we're on ! it's our land and we'll defend it till the last drop of Blood ...

Thanks guys i appreciate your comments ...
and even though I know that we Lebanese should never lose hope, it's so frusterating because this time it really feels like there's NO light at the end of the tunnel...even when Hariri was killed at least we all united together, Hezbollah shrank into the background, Syria got kicked out, there was no mention of f*cking Palestinian resistance (where the HELL did they come from ?)
This time, our army is in a big mess because they have no weapons and so little training due to so many years of being f*cked over by Syria...more and more terrorists are coming in and weapons cannot be stopped...our own "national resistance" is condemming the army and government, our politicians and cities are being bombed...
we are like a man swimming in the sea. the waves keep drowning him and he keeps rising his head a little bit and then the waves come again and hold him under water...and he pops up again for a second, and so it goes until he either makes it to shore or drowns for good.
What we want is a secular, democratic, and sovereign Lebanon. We want neither an Islamic emirate nor a Christian homeland, we just want to LIVE without being punished by our neighbors!
Again, the road to Al Quds doesn't RUN through JOUNIEH!
Can you believe that the terrorists are doing all of this because the army chased them after robbing a bank ? What do they want ... to rob banks and everyone tells them "its okay, we won't bother you, you're sponsored by Syria ?" OVER MY DEAD BODY!
What does Syria want ? To transport weapons to fundamentalist groups without any reprecussions ? HOW IS THIS OKAY IN ANY COUNTRY!
