Hezbollah's legitimacy in Lebanon is driven by the fact that it calls itself our official national resistance.
With this in mind, why are they not coming to the aid of the country when the country can actually benefit from them ? Why don't they "resist" the forces from abroad that are trying their best to destabilize us, from Nahr el Behred to the Bekaa and onward ? Why don't they use those rockets they brag about in cowardly speeches to help make Lebanon for the Lebanese ? I'd really like a Hezbollah supporter to answer this question, because as far as I'm concerned from today on--Hezbollah is not Lebanese in any way, shape, or form. Hezbollah supporters are equally as alien to me ... Our national anthem says "Quloona lel Watan." I guess they didn't get the memo that our Watan is not Syria or Iran.
Makes you think, right ?

thanx Karen for reading my mind I'm glad we're on the same wavelength, nabooly and katkoot. The thing is that without a platform a resistance is totally useless. Why do you think the militias after the civil war all said OKAY to taking away their weapons ? There's no use being a milita when there's nothing to fight. Israel isn't bothering us right now (I, for one, can live with the occasional reconnaissance flight over lebanon compared to what's goin on in nahr el bared.) That means that Hezbollah is illegitimate as a resistance...there's nothing to resist from Israel's side at this point. They need to lay down their weapons, open up the territories they control, OR ELSE WORK FOR THE GOOD OF LEBANON.
