and salma, lebanon is one of several countries in the middle east that does not allow civil marriage. (that doesn't mean that it doesn't happpen ALLLL the time, cyprus is just a short flight away)

and clearly if christian girls can't marry muslim guys then the candidates in this show haven't gotten that memo
