I know its hard for some people to learn arabic 3ady...its different for each person. I just can't understand how you can live in a place all your life and not be able to perfect the language. Its quite shameful actually. Does she not find it high enough to reach her standards. See I don't want to judge her but the fact that she told us that her dad is half-italian is so irrelevant. Talk about yourself man. LOL. Its just that you can learn arabic buy the simple communication with people. For 24 years when she was shopping, LEARNING ARABIC IN SCHOOL, making friends, speaking to her teachers, talking to her HALF EGYPTIAN dad, she couldn't learn perfect arabic?....but then again if figure out a little bit about her mom, it would explain something. my point about the reportages exactly they always show stupid useless details about the students..whoever his dad died whoever his cat died whoever his computer broke whoever has body guards whoever has a brazilian dad etc etc  I def. agree. The always show useless crap about them. I understand that your parents or circumstances help shape up who you are but saying that "somone's dad died" will only make us pity him :S.....or "someone's dad is italian" is completely useless because that doesn't have anything to do with you. |

give her a chance, u never grew up with her so u can judge her so harshly. her mom is not egyptian and her parents probably spoke other languages at home more often than arabic, her dad is maybe half egyptian but he probably didnt speak to his wife in arabic ya3ni. and from a young age you are influenced by your mother's tongue regardless of the country you live in. even if she learned arabic in school (in many private schools in egypt arabic is only taught once a week and is not emphasized) and from exposure, she can't change the language she was conditioned with and is spontaneous in (the language she thinks in) so why doesn't my cousin speak french? her mom is algerian(only speaks french and barely egyptian) and she only goes to english schools bass yeah i'm gonna give her a chance, i'm waiting until she convinces me eno she has a good excuse why she's speaking like a retard. not the whole world have 2 be like your cousin ;D |

Honestly it deeply isn't about her. Its just the whole idea of people living in a country and not speaking the language caught my interest. One time Aseel posted a thread about a show discussing how Egyptian people living in Egypt are not able to speak it or prefer not to communicate in Egyptian. So it was def. interesting especially that I noticed alot of people prefer to speak English there. So I just wanted to know if that was the case for her because your dad being half Italian is irrelevant. But if her mom isn't Egyptian, then I could see how she can have an accent.
