OK so its a few days after Mohannad left and I am still annoyed! Don't worry, I'm not spiralling into a deep dark depression! But it's just so annoying that they voted him out. I feel a little silly since I haven't watched the show that long but I guess that proves my point even more, that you can tell he was great right away. Seriously, listen to this stuff.......... freehost13.websamba.com/mohannadm/mohannad/songs.htmlHE'S AMAZING! WHAT A VOICE! I can't describe how great it sounds. It's strong but not screaming and irritating. It's so smooth and pliant and just incredibly pleasing to the ear. Add that to how he uses it and does all sorts of things with it flawlessly and effortlessly. I am really impressed. He is so much better than a lot of the "professional" singers who have been around for 10 or 15 years. Plus he was polite and professional but still had a sense of humor, was friendly, always smiling and seemed like someone that you knew in real life. And he knew how to get the crowd going, unlike some of the other contestants. The thing with these shows is that everyone has a favorite that they are going to vote for and of course only one can win. But what bothers me is not always that someone didn't win, but when they left. Mohannad, even if he didn't win, should have be in the top two or three. It's shameful that he's not. Of course, this show got him a lot of fans and hopefully lots of opportunities, but still, him leaving too early is kind of like the public telling him "you're not good enough" when he is. I don't want to dwell on this too much but I guess this is the week for us to complain about Mohannad's departure until next week when we get disappointed if Raneem or Hadi leaves.

D, what a great response. I totally sympathize with Mohaned's departure. Truly, it was a loss, and everytime they bring on Future the medley of the candidates singing the songs of Melhim Zain, Rowaida Ateya, Diana Karazon, and Saoud Abu Sultan, I see Mohaned how powerful and great his voice is. Seriously, that medley was my favorite, especially with Abir, Raneem, Hossam Shami, Hossam M., Hadi (ofcourse my ultimate favorite), and Brigitte. That was such a good time. I really hope that Hadi, Raneem, or Brigitte leave next week. I will be really tragic, and if Hadi leaves especially, that would be a serious tragedy. Hopefully, they will have that chance to make it big, and I certainly hope the best for them.

I'm here again.. Sorry for not being always with you but the circumstances!!! I saw this post from D and I liked it... Oh... you are still annoyed??!! Do you think it is wrong?? Okay.. I'll tell you about myself... A month ago (or more) Houssam Shami left (too early I know), till now I'm still annoyed... Each time I watch Super Star I remember the moment Ayman told him that he's going to leave (it was in fact a strange episode also.. if you didn't see it..) So it is normal to feel like that since a month passed and I still think that Houssam deserves to be in the program.. We'll be always sad... coz I'm thinking we are going to see Ayman and Ammar in the final.. And they are the only 2 I didn't want to see in the final from the 17 candidates.. What a luck!!

Yay, haa70, you are responding. Yeah, D, I don't know if you looked at the previous topics in the Superstar section, but when Hossam got out, we were all devastated, haa70 the most. It is really sad that these people, although they were in the finals, will probably not get published with their own album. Still today, I feel I really miss all of them. Future keeps on bringing previous medleys and seeing most of the candidates made me sad, because I miss the extras with them, the news reports on them, and mostly their lovely faces in the primes.

I agree D. Hossam was really good in that medley. At least he memorized his lines not like Ammar.

oh shooda please don't remind me of ammar!!! he never memorizes his words. oh my God, even in the song of palestine for asala, he was reading from a paper he realy gets on my nerves!!! and what makes me even more angry, is that they r all considering him like a palestinian hero and for what? he doesn't even live there!! palestine is in all our hearts, and we all love it... God knows how much i love palestine, and how much i wish and pray for its freedom... but this is not about nationalities... it is about a full characteristics of a star... voice, personality, and good looks... and sorry guys, ammar doens't have any of those... yes any, not even voice... sorry but i personally don't find his voice nice... i feel that he screams all the time, and he scares me too when he opens his mouth while singing ;D sorry guys i don't mean anything bad... and by the way i forgot to mention this earlier, but in the last result episode, did u see how when rania told ammar that he is safe, did u see how he turned back to his seat without kissing any of the ones who were still in danger?!! i don't recall anyone going back without kissing the rest!! how rude of him!! this shows how much he cares!!!

YEAH! WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THE PAPER! Seriously that is so disrespectful to the orginal artist and the audience. It's like saying "yeah i'm too good to learn my lines." First of all, they had to have practiced this in advance so he should know it. Second, even if it was a last minute thing, how are you going to become a professional singer and not be able to memorize a couple lines, not even the whole song! Also if you notice in the medley, I looked like Medaniye also had a paper, though he was trying to hide it in the hand on the microphone. But at least he was trying to be slick about it. Not like Ammar who made a show. Why even cut the paper small then? Might as well bring a whole sheet.
And Palestinian schmalistinian. I think that is why people are voting for him, too. My dad is Palestinian. Actually my last name can't get more Palestinian. But that still doesn't make me like him. This guy's attitude is an embarrassment. Also, what do people think, if he wins he's gonna solve the problems over there. No singers even hold concerts there because of the situation so I don't see what the point is. Yeah maybe the Palestinians will cheer for a day but then they will go back to their misery and it will be cheating better performers out of the title. Plus, like katkoot said, there is no reason for any of this to be about nationality.
Yeah he has a strong voice but it's an annoying voice. And it has no lam3a to it. Just plain. It's not really distinguishable. Plus he just stands there sullenly. It's depressing. He sings as if he is doing you a favor. No thank you. Keep your darn singing to yourself. Imagine him winning and giving concerts! Who would torture themself by going? He wouldn't even smile at his fans and thank them. And I hate when the judges compliment him. I just wanna scream "stop! his head is big enough already!" And he stands there all smug and like expecting to be praised. The other ones smile and say nice things and are grateful when they are complimented and at least try to appear humble. He doesn't.
God I hope he doesn't win. I will take any one of them over him.

In the response to you, katkoot, in the order of your paragraphs:
- I have no idea why, but see for the young people like Hadi, Hossam, or Brigitte, they have school on their minds. They have exams, and EVEN IF they decided to bring a note like Ammar did and read off of it, I still don't blame them because they have something else to work at. Ammar on the other hand, has already completed his studies. What's pressuring him now?
- True, about Ammar being a Palestinian hero, I have to say that he has actually spent a lot of years in Dubai, studying music, and not in Palestine. I think we mentioned this before, but consider if Ammar was not Palestinian, do you think that people would react to him the same way? I do not think so.
- Okay Ammar was definitely rude. I never really noticed that until you mentioned it katkoot. I totally agree - his personality is pretty cold; at least give some support to the others who are about to have their dreams diminished.

some of you guys are ignorant enough to even mention wrong info. first of all..if you really watch the show and pay attention..Ammar studied music at the university of naja7 in palestine..then he left to Dubai to teach music. so get the correct information and then say so. plus he knew asala's song for palestine..he didnt' read it ...it was the last song in the last show..Sunday the 25th of july when he was reading the song..so please don't make up stuff...
