U remember last year, Sofia proudly announced on Rotana TV she was nominee for the MUREX D’OR 2007 but fortunately for all of us, Shaza Haasoun got the prize for best rising female singer.
Last month, Sofia was also finalist in the ART TV best rising singer 2008 poll and again, Shaza Hassoun won the title. (wonder whether Sofia and Shaza are still friends !)
Two days ago, at the MEMA 2008 in Cairo, Sofia was facing Myriam Attalah in the competition and guess who won
