مارادونا : يجب أن تستمتع الجزائر بالمونديال لأنها ستودعه بعد 3 مباريات
تحدث الأسطورة الأرجنتينية دييجو أرماندو مارادونا عن المنتخب العربي الوحيد المتواجد في نهائيات كأس العالم التي تجري منافساتها حالياً بجنوب أفريقيا في الفترة مابين 11 -6 إلى 11 - 7 .
وفي تصريحات له عقب مباراة فريقه ضد نيجيريا والتي فازت بها الأرجنتين بهدف نظيف قال مارادونا في تصريحات نقلتها وسائل العالم العالمية " الجزائر لن تتأهل إلى الدور الثاني في ظل وجود أمريكا وإنجلترا وسلوفينيا" .
وتلعب الجزائر بجانب الثلاثي المذكور في المجموعة الثالثة وتلعب أولى مبارياتها بعد دقائق معدودة ضد منتخب سلوفينيا والذي قلل مدربهم من شأن الفريق الجزائري واصفاً إياه بأنه فريق ذو ترتيب متأخر في تصنيف الفيفا ولا يمثل تحدي له .
وأضاف مارادونا " الجزائر حققت إنجازها بالفعل وهو التواجد في كأس العالم , أما أن تفعل أكثر من ذلك فهو ليس وارد , ويجب على الجزائر أن تفخر بفريقها وأن تستمع بالمونديال قبل أن تودعه بعد ثلاث مباريات في الدور الأول " .

;D ofc Algeria's team is the worst in this world cup, go to Fifa website and see the ranking ;D and everybody knows that Algeria will be kicked out with 0 points ;D

I watched the rerun of the game, and they didn't play well at all  they could've done MUCH better, it looked like they weren't even trying. They were violent!! They don't have the right approach and I blame their coach! |

How is that the worst team in the world? The ranking is gonna change once our new players get used to playing with each other. Bit ch u spend too much time on Algeria and i know why. We caused u a real complex. ;D |

I know yasmina actually on nile sports when they showed the rerun of the match they had egyptian commentators and they were saying that the team has a strong start considering the hard group they are in, so regardless of the results, they competed against strong teams (usa and england) and they said that with slovenia, now they know that they need to try harder so they're learning things the "hard way" and that will motivate them to do better with england! And they said arabs should be proud that one of their teams made it to the world cup because this hasn't happened in years! BUT maradona is considered one of the strongest players of all time and now that he's coaching argentina there are high hopes for his team and I do think the team will go far, but he didn't say anything bad about algeria, he just said he doesn't think they got the right strategy and that they might not make it to the second round but they should be proud of themselves |

Maradonna and Argentina are both overrated. They complete eachother in the overrated department. Well done Algeria, good luck in your next match.

Thank God for people with brains and a fair mind like u. :-*The problem of our team is our coach honnestly. He is brilliant in the qualifiers but in big competitions like the WC he doesn't know how to deal with it because he is afraid to take risks. My parents told me that he did the same in 1986. He obviously told his players to play defensive instead of offensive. U could see that when we lost a player we started playing offensive but it was too late. Not to mention our infortunate circumstances of several key players being injured and being forced to play with 5 players who never played with each other. We could do very badly in this world cup but i'm very optimistic for the future and i hope that we'll qualify with Egypt next time and we won't be in the same group lol. ;D Maradona was an amazing player but as a coach he is not taking them far. He is mad because last time we played against Argentina we scored 2 goals against them lol. ;D |

^^ plus he critisized Pele and Platini, so I'm not really surprised with what he said. and no one forgets what he said to all the critics when Argentina classified to the world cup |
