A movie I really want to see with Leila Beikhti, Hiam Abbas and Hafsia Ferzi.
The story takes place in current times, in a small North African village. The women fetch water from a mountaintop spring in the blazing sun. They've done that since the beginning of time. Leila, a young bride, urges the women to launch a love strike: no more cuddling, no more sex until the men run water into the village.

looooool ok ok kidding ;D ..but still, not my type of movie..although my favorite person is the grandma on the donkey in the beginning..ya i think shes the best ;D Her name is Biyouna. She is Algerian and very popular in Algeria. She is quite known in France since a few years. She is so funny. Love her Algerian sketches lol I think the story takes place in Morroco. But the main actresses are Algerian like Leila Beikhti, Biyouna, Sabrina Ouazani. Hafzia Ferzi is half Algerian half Tunsian if I remember well. And the amazing Hiam Abbas is Palestinian.

Did you see "Tout ce qui brille" with Leila Beikhti?
