That is what we witness today
Hatred and resentment have invaded our plane
But we’ve done nothing to prevent them
Instead we opened our gates and let them in
And now we've seen the error of our ways
People’s lives taken brutally
While rivers of tears flow endlessly
We spread devastation without a second thought
Without a backward glance or even the slightest feeling of guilt
At the torment our ignorance has built
Peace, that’s what we wish for
Harmony is what we want
Love is what we need
These are the main elements for a blissful world
The main things we lack the most
Save the world before it’s too late
Before we wake up one morning and find
That what was once a land of evergreen trees
Has become a sphere of mass destruction
Give the people freedom
Give the children faith
That someday the world will be an everlasting heaven.
