Broken Hearts!
Sleeping and waking up to the sound of bombs
Poor little innocent children not able to go to school,
Being surrounded by army men everywhere,
Wishing their parents were there,
Holding them so close, telling them not to be scared…
Unfortunately it is just a wish that won’t come true,
Because they’re all alone with no one to hold,
They’re all alone, their parents are gone…
Tears coming down their beautiful eyes,
Falling on their round looking cheeks,
Sliding down through their tiny chin, and falling…
Falling, flying from their innocent faces,
Landing on the broken land,
With so much hurt thinking why do they deserve to stay?
With no land, no home, no friends, no family,
Why should they be the ones to suffer?
