An Important Suggestion

Hello Minkara Brothers,

This is an very important request. There have been many instances of people changing names or registering under new names so that they can post more than once and make it seem like their cause has a great deal of support. Additionally, when a certain side of the argument or discussion has a majority opinion, it is accused of posting messages under different names. This problem can be remedied by 1)not allowing guests to post messages and only browse the message board (its very easy and free to register so why should they remain a guest?) or 2)log IP adresses and don't let a single IP adress register more than one name. The IP adress is like the "adress" of a computer with internet access, so it will insure that at one computer only one Screen Name on this message board exists.

Please listen to my suggestions, they are not controversial as I'm sure the legitimate members of this website agree because we've all had our fair share of problems and difficulty with guests and name-changers. All the other forums that I use do not allow "guests" to post and require people to register a screen name.

Additionally, feel free to kick any one of us that switch names out.

well since i'm too lazy to log in but i have to say i agree with you!! so by letting guests not be able to post then i will have to get over my laziness and log in!! loool! but that IP address thing isn't really a good idea cuz that address is our privacy and it can be used in bad ways (like people could steal it like what happened to one of my friends) her IP address was stolen and used by another person which made her pay so much for her intenet when she didn't even use it!! so i think the IP address thing is not a good idea!! because what if your friend comes over and wants to log in her account or register or something then she/he won't be able to!! so maybe you should forget the IP address thing!! it doesn't really matter with me!! i want this forum peaceful in any way!

i agree with u StaracFanNumberOne i think they should do the first suggestion coz the second suggestion is a bit complicated and can lead to a lot of problems as SaMoOrA said
